Did you know your body is like a superhero machine? To keep running fast and thinking clearly, it needs the right fuel. That fuel is WATER!

Soda might taste sweet, but it is full of sugar and caffeine that your body doesn't need. Actually, soda is better for cleaning dirty floors than for drinking. Yuck!


Why Water is Your Best Friend:

  • Super Power: More than half of your body is made of water!

  • Brain Power: It helps your brain think and your heart beat.

  • Tummy Power: It helps your food digest so you don't get a tummy ache or get stuck on the toilet.


The "Pee Test" How do you know if you drank enough water today? Check your pee!

  • Dark Yellow: Uh-oh! You need to drink water right now.

  • Light Yellow: Great job! You are hydrated.


Fun Ways to Drink More:

  1. Cool Cup: Get a reusable water bottle and decorate it with your favorite stickers.

  2. Ice Pops: In the summer, make popsicles out of plain water to cool down.

  3. Tasty Twist: If plain water tastes boring, ask an adult to squeeze a little lemon into it.

Remember, fruits and veggies have water too, but a big glass of plain water is the best way to stay strong!
