The best way to slow down your eating is to put your fork or spoon down between every bite.

  1. Take a small bite of food.

  2. Chew your food slowly (count to 10 in your head!).

  3. Put your utensil down on your plate or table.

  4. Swallow all your food.

  5. Then pick up your utensil for the next bite.

This simple trick gives your tummy time to send the "I'm full!" message to your brain!
