Superpowers and "The Tummy Broom" (Fiber)
Hey there, Future Superhero!
Did you know your body is like a super-advanced robot? To keep your robot systems running, you need special fuel. That’s where the Green Team (Veggies) and the Sweet Team (Fruits) come in.
Why you need them: These foods are packed with Vitamins. Think of vitamins as invisible shields that stop you from getting sick.
Vegetables: You need about 3 to 5 servings a day. That could be crunchy carrots, a salad, or cooked greens.
Fruits: You need 2 to 4 servings. An apple, a banana, or a cup of strawberries all count!
The Secret Weapon: Fiber Fruits and veggies (and whole grains) have a secret ingredient called Fiber. Imagine fiber is a tiny broom inside your stomach. It sweeps everything through your intestines so your tummy doesn't hurt and you can go to the bathroom easily. It keeps your inside "pipes" clean!
๐ฅ Fun Challenge: Can you eat a "Rainbow" today? Try to eat one fruit or veggie that is Red, Green, and Orange!
