Hey there, future champion! Want to know a secret to being strong and full of energy? It’s all about the food you eat. Your body is like a super-powered machine, and it needs the right fuel to run its best.

The coolest part? The best fuel is a rainbow of colors!


Why Try Different Foods?

We all have a favorite food (pizza, anyone?) but eating the same thing every day is boring for your taste buds and your body! When you eat lots of different colors, you get all the special superpowers that each food has.

Have you ever said "no" to a food before? Foods you didn't like when you were little (looking at you, green veggies!) might taste a lot better now that you're older. It’s always fun to give them another try!


Your Daily Food Mission!

Try to eat 5 servings of fruits and veggies every day. It’s easier than you think! Check out this example for a day of yummy, colorful eating:

  • Breakfast: Throw a handful of yummy red strawberries on your cereal.

  • Lunch: Crunch on a few orange baby carrots.

  • Snack: Bite into a crispy, round apple.

  • Dinner: Go green with some broccoli and a big, leafy salad.
