Date Power-Up Boats!
This is a fun and easy way to make dates taste extra delicious (ask a grown-up to help you!):
Prep the Date: Carefully slice the date open lengthwise (long ways), like you are opening a little boat. Take out the small seed inside.
Add the Filling: Use a tiny spoon to fill the date boat with a smooth filling. The best fillings are:
Nut Butter: A little peanut butter or almond butter.
Cream Cheese: A small dab of cream cheese.
Munch! This makes a sweet and creamy snack that is packed with even more energy!
